In 1948, Mr.Fathalla Khedr decided to enter the field of paper most probably without imagining that his name will be engraved and linked with this profession and field for these years. He started as local trader as it wasn't allowed for private entities to import. Along with the political transformation at this stage, the importing of paper turned to be the profession.

This stage remained for long and extended to the family's next generation. Khedr family became a name linked with paper throughout the country.

Since the beginning of the 90's , the third generation took the lead of gradually shifting business from being mainly paper importers to other paper related areas as production, coating, converting and finally international paper trading through the establishing of 'Paper House' in 1998.

During the past decade, 'Paper House' made noticeable expansion in the market base to encompass other Middle Eastern Countries in addition to the huge expansion in qualities.
